I just bought the humble bundle for my android phone, and I don’t know how to install the games. I downloaded the games, but when I go to install them it says it won’t accept anything that isn’t from the market. I tried to go to settings>applications but there isn’t an option to allow unknown sources. I bought a file manager and tried to install them from that, but it says the same thing. What do I do?
I wanna buy an Android powered phone and just wanted 2 know how Android worked… Would i need a hotspot to go online on my phone??

I’ve been looking at Ainol Novo 7 tablets, and am considering going for the Ainol Novo 7 Aurora tablet. However, I realise that this doesn’t come with the Android Market, does this mean that I cannot download apps? Will the market become available in the future even if I buy now? Also would it be a better option to buy a Novo with an older version of Android on it in order to run Android market? And if I did would I then be able to upgrade to Android 4.0 when the market is available?

It’s a Motorola Droid running Android operating system, like it’s an Apple iPhone running iOS.
Droid (in the instance you’re talking about) is a series of phones by Motorola.
Android is the operating system they run on. It’s owned by Google, and is available on many different phones, including the Droids. Other than a few limits on processing power/etc., any phone that runs Android will run the same Android apps. Buy a Motorola Droid 2, then switch to a HTC Thunderbolt and since they’re both running Android, you’ll be able to use the same apps.
I have tried the stock keyboard and Go Keyboard as well, they both drive me crazy. I would like to try Adaptxt but I can’t figure out how to turn the sound off for when I’m typing. I’ve tried changing it in the Language and Keyboard settings and I’ve tried it within the app but can’t seem to find any place to turn it off within the app settings.. heeelp!
